Her passion for the business, her dedication to her clients and her ability to exceed expectation, are three characteristics that are evident in each initiative she touches. She takes great pride in what she does and treats every business endeavour with the same level of commitment and respect, no matter how large or small. Before opening WK+A, Wendy spent 10 years at IMG (Vice President and Director), 8 years at Lang Marketing (Director) and 3 years at Skate Canada (Manager).
Gayle is a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified event and project manager with extensive experience in not-for-profit, association, non-governmental organizations, volunteer and government sectors. Experienced in managing simultaneous projects, from project initiation to close out and budget responsibility, Gayle is a highly sought after national event and special projects executive. who’s event repertoire includes; large public facing events (10,000 + participants), to festivals, galas, workshops, summits and meetings. Gayle’s communication skills, attention to detail and her ability to lead teams of professionals and volunteers ensure events are planned and executed in a seamless and effective manner.
Denise is an enthusiastic, service oriented professional with 25+ years of hands-on experience in event production, management and marketing. Denise possesses a broad knowledge of corporate communications and branding, sponsorship, experiential marketing, client/supplier relations, television production and the numerous details involved in the execution of events both large and small. At WK+A, Denise has managed a variety of the company’s corporate and non-profit projects, including corporate meetings and conferences, consumer promotions, sporting events, and fundraising initiatives.
Recognized globally as a world leading expert and project leader in the field of event management, communications, broadcasting and information services. Since 1990, Michele has supplied event services and logistics, sport research and press operations to nine Olympic Games, several World Championships, Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games, plus many more national/international events – including accreditation services for the G8 & G20 Summit held in Canada in 2010. An event veteran, Michele’s attention to detail is second to none.
David is a senior leader with repeated and verifiable success spear-heading organizational excellence in the not-for-profit, public and private sectors. David has extensive experience creating and achieving broad and inclusive organizational vision, leading teams of 4-300 employees, building relationships, successfully managing major events at local, regional and national levels, achieving budget targets, reporting to boards of directors and Executive Council, leading multi-faceted major projects, negotiating contracts, and implementing positive organizational change.
A veteran of the event industry with over 18 years of experience and a career that includes special events, concerts and live festivals. As a producer with an impressive technical background, Pete has the rare skill of being able to talk specifics with suppliers and negotiating contracts that bring unparalleled support to his projects while maintaining strong supplier and community relationships. His wealth of experience managing events with large budgets, and the challenges that come with them, have made him a leader in the industry. Achieving goals, hitting targets, and meeting budgets while lighting up social media with every project he takes on. Priding himself on his dedication to his craft with a strong work ethic and an ability to bring the creative and technological elements together, Pete’s calm demeanor and unique ability to multi task keeps him focused on achieving extraordinary results while maintaining one of the best safety records in the industry – from major public art festivals to international spectacles and the largest electronic music festivals in the country.
