As we started developing a 70 day cultural festival which had never been presented before, we knew we would need a very experienced event management partner in delivering on our vision. The site infrastructure, pageantry, programming, and overall operations set the bar for future events in Atlantic Canada. The WK+A Events Team joined our ‘party in the making’ early in 2014 as PEI 2014 was rolling out the 150^th Anniversary of the 1864 Charlottetown Conference -when a nation was born.

As one of the lead staff from the hosts and property owners, the City of Charlottetown, I had the opportunity to meet and work with Wendy and the WK +A team,  as we laid out all of the logistical details of this unprecedented 70 day Celebration Zone at our Confederation Landing park property. From event planning through to event execution and project closure, WK+A were the consummate professionals, with an overriding commitment to excellence at all stages of this signature project. As a result of their efforts, the Celebration Zone was a resounding success, with rave reviews from visitors and residents alike on the venue, the services, and the overall event experience.
